What to Expect
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll design and develop robust, scalable applications that empower Tesla's cell manufacturing facilities teams to manage operations safely and efficiently, ensuring zero downtime and maximum safety for technicians. You'll also work closely with facility engineers, EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety), and manufacturing teams to build platforms that host day-to-day operations, maximize productivity across manufacturing workflows, and lay the foundation for fully autonomous factories of the future.
What You'll Do
- Architect and develop high-performance backend API services using the .NET framework to support mission-critical facility operations
- Design and build intuitive, responsive web frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript
- Integrating AI agents into web platforms and building AI tools and MCPs
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native to extend platform accessibility
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams, EH&S, and facility managers to define requirements
- Integrate Tesla's internal tools and real-time communication devices into a centralized platform
- Analyze and master existing code structures to identify areas for long-term maintainability and scalability
- Proactively identify system bottlenecks or operational gaps and independently design and deploy solutions to ensure system reliability
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git/GitHub)
- Strong technical proficiency in full-stack development, specificallywith React.js, C# (.NET), and Python
- Proficiency in API design and full-stack software architectures
- Experience with orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA Software Programming
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical implementation and operational needs
- Ability to adapt to the fast-paced environment managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Expected Compensation
$140,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
