The Herbold Computational Biology Program in the Public Health Sciences (PHS) division is seeking a senior Research Administrator (RA) to join our team. Research administrators in the Computational Biology Program provide support to our faculty in pre- and post-award management, regulatory compliance monitoring, and general day-to-day lab operations. The role requires ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, recognize new issues or concerns that arise in a PI's portfolio, and coordinate with colleagues in other departments to resolve them. The Research Administrator IV plans for and ensures compliant and effective funding, budget and regulatory administration and general administrative support for one or several Principal Investigators and their labs/departments. The Research Administrator IV collaborates with Principal Investigators and interfaces with other departments as needed on administrative and strategic planning and works autonomously to complete nonscientific grant content and tasks, advise the PIs on relevant matters and develop effective solutions to related issues. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, an interest in continuous learning, ability to analyze and communicate complex regulatory guidelines, and a desire to work in a supportive and collegial community. A cover letter is required for this application. The annual base salary range for this position is from $93,163 to $139,714, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
