Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our P&C Quality Assurance and Test Automation team. You will report to the Manager of P&C Quality Assurance and Test Automation.

In this role, you willleverageyourexpertisein automated testing frameworks, software quality assurance, and technical leadership to ensure the reliability and performance of our critical P&C policy systems. You will work independently on complex assignments, collaborating closely with technical and non-technical team members to deliver robust and effective automated testing solutions.

This is a 100%in-office position. Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, andmaintainautomated test frameworks and scripts primarily for web and API applications.

  • Support the design of effective test cases by engaging with Agile teams to understand systems,workflowsand requirements.

  • Execute testing within continuous integration pipelines using industry standard tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

  • Analyze test results,identifydefects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

  • Maintainand improve test environments, existing automated tests, and test data management strategies.

  • Implement andmaintaintest reporting and dashboards for visibility into test coverage and results.

  • Participatein test automation code reviews and contribute to quality standards and best practices.

  • Prepare detailed documentation for automated testing solutions, including best practices, test case design, data flow, system interfaces, and training materials.

  • Stay current with emerging tools, trends, and technologies.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Four to six years of experience in software development or test automation, with a minimum of two years focused on designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for complex business systems.

  • Proficiencyin one or more programming languagescommonlyused in test automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.

  • Experience in open source and/or proprietary test automation frameworks such: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright,TricentisTosca.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communicationskills and the ability to lead and mentor others.

  • Understanding ofP&C Commercial/Ag insurance products is a plus.

  • Test Automation related certifications such as CTAL-TAE, CSTAS-IIST, etc. a plus.

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will becommensuratewith candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost oflaborin that location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

  • Pay Range: $79,764 -$120,972
