Why This Role Matters

The Material Handling Laborer- Facility Clerk performs physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Duties involve one or more of the following: Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or, transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow (WDR Summary 20150).

What You Will Do



  • Provide daily facility support, including workspace layout planning and office setup to ensure efficient use of space.
  • Perform office moves, furniture teardown, relocation, and setup of modular workstations and equipment.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding facility maintenance issues and coordinate solutions with the Director of Facility Management when needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by properly using tools and equipment and following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive team environment while delivering reliable, high-quality work.
  • Maintain professional conduct in accordance with Didlake policies and procedures.
  • Complete required paperwork, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain compliance by completing all required Didlake training.
