Location: Huntington Beach, CA 92647
Pay Rate: $27.00 on W2
Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 1st First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)


Job Description:

  • Engineering Development Mechanic supports building activities for mechanical assemblies, heavy structure drill out, bonding, fastener installation, assembling components and wire harness installations.
  • Typical work includes building, modifying, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing components and structural assemblies used in production of product lines. The role bridges hands-on mechanical work and executes planned work through work orders, designs, computer models, processes and procedures. Must be able to obtain Security Clearance after hiring .


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and using standard hand/power tools and precision instruments.
  • Maintain accurate buyoffs of completed work, inspections, and non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with engineers to suggest design changes and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and configuration control.


Required Skills:

  • Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance, machine trades, or manufacturing technologies.
  • Experience with composites, titanium, sheet metal, riveting, fastening, wiring, tubing, and basic machining. Familiarity with drawings, blueprints, and technical data.
  • Use of tooling: torque wrenches, countersinks, drills, deburring tools, and calibrated equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and good communication with engineers and teammates.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications (A&P), specialty training or equivalent experience are desirable.


Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
