THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in advancing AMD's industryleading AI and machine learning technologies. In this role, you will work at the intersection of software engineering, machine learning, and customer engagement-helping drive performance, adoption, and innovation across AMD's AI solutions.

You will collaborate closely with internal architecture, marketing, and applications teams, as well as external partners and customers, to ensure AMD delivers highquality, highperformance technologies to market.

You enjoy working across teams, engaging with customers, and translating technical challenges into scalable solutions. You take pride in writing highquality code and are excited by the opportunity to influence nextgeneration AI and ML platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with software partners, architects, and engineers to drive performance optimizations and develop benchmarking strategies
  • Create technical collateral such as presentations, whitepapers, and demos to position AMD's ML compiler and AI solutions in target market segments
  • Codevelop partner demos, proof points, and customer success stories; contribute to statements of work (SOWs) as needed
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their critical design requirements and guide them toward effective solutions
  • Drive adoption of AMD AI Engine tool flows by working closely with customers, marketing, and field specialists
  • Partner with technical marketing and applications engineering to translate customer needs into new features and capabilities
  • Collaborate with the architecture team to design and influence nextgeneration machine learning solutions

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals
  • Expertlevel experience in Python and/or C++
  • Handson experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or ONNX
  • Experience optimizing machine learning applications for specific hardware architectures is a plus
  • Experience with ML infrastructure or compiler development is a plus
  • Excellent software design and development skills; experience working in Linux environments and modern development toolchains
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problemsolving abilities

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
