The Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) Analyst is a phenomenal role for someone passionate about developing collaborative relationships with both external customers (customer buying/replenishment team) and internal customers (Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain). The end goal is to drive supply chain efficiency and mutual profitability of customer accounts.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Build and analyze seasonal profiling process to forecast future orders.
  • Develop and implement standard reporting templates.
  • Research out-of-stock items and present proposals on the root cause.
  • Identify gaps in inventory and coordinate with Operations on production scheduling.
  • Provide order status to distribution partners.
  • Track and update lead times on back-ordered items to ensure customer awareness.
  • Provide shipping/tracking information to customers.
  • Work with customers on understanding and completing promotional planning needs.
  • Develop and document common processes for continuous improvement.
  • Performance reporting and result tracking.
  • New VMI customer analysis and setup.
  • Meeting customer-established turn and service goals.
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Service Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Operations preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management skills to develop plans with action steps and timetables, meet deadlines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships, both internal and external, and establish credibility with business partners.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly evolving business environment.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$54,300.00 - $100,800.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
