*Workplace Type:* Onsite *Schedule Options:* * *Shift 1:* Tuesday-Saturday | 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM * *Shift 2:* Tuesday-Saturday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM *Job Summary* We are seeking an experienced *Customer Service Representative* to support a highvolume call center environment that handles critical internal and external requests across 30+ hospital locations. This role includes answering and routing calls, dispatching work requests, and assisting with various operational support functions. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a fastpaced setting, and exceptional attention to detail. *What You'll Do* * Answer highvolume inbound calls from employees, patients, visitors, and the general public (200-500 calls/day, ~60 seconds per call). * Document, prioritize, and dispatch work requests across multiple service lines (patient transport, maintenance, biomed, codes, general info, etc.). * Monitor environmental and safety alarms including doors, gates, intercoms, and CCTV. * Support workflow assignments for patient transport teams. * Participate in or lead department projects and process improvement initiatives. * Provide professional communication, conflict resolution, and excellent customer service in every interaction. * Perform duties in a competent, efficient, and courteous manner. *Minimum Requirements* *Education* * High School Diploma or GED required. *Experience* * *1+ year of customer service experience required.* * Experience in administrative support, call centers, dispatching, or healthcare environments *preferred*. *Top Skills (MustHaves)* * Customer service * Call center support * Customer support * Ability to work in a fastpaced, highvolume environment * Strong documentation and communication skills *NicetoHave Skills* * Emotional intelligence * Healthcare call center or patient services experience * Active listening * Personable, strong interpersonal skills * Demonstrated history of strong tenure/longterm roles *Work Environment* * Onsite call center supporting over 30 hospitals * Fastpaced, critical routing and communication responsibilities * No scripting - requires strong judgment and adaptability *Impact of the Role* This call center serves as a critical hub for routing calls, issuing internal codes, connecting departments, and ensuring timely responses to operational and patientrelated needs.
