Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist - Operations for our Lakeville, MN corporate office. This is a hybrid position, with some days in office and some days remote during the work week.

Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist - Operations supports high-volume recruiting for warehouse and operational positions across the organization. This role manages candidate flow, coordinates hiring logistics, and ensures a smooth and efficient hiring process. The Specialist also provides onboarding and HR process support to ensure compliance and a positive new hire experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for warehouse and operational roles, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and facilitating pre-employment processes.
  • Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and completion of all required new hire documentation. Facilitate New Hire Orientation and maintain current, compliant content to ensure an effective onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking data and ensure candidate records are current and compliant.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding hiring status, pre-employment steps, and start details to ensure a positive hiring experience.
  • Provide support for HR onboarding processes, including new hire setup support and compliance documentation.
  • Provide backup support for HR coordination functions and assist with administrative HR tasks as needed.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, HR support, or high-volume customer service environments preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Proficiency in using a variety of computer applications to include Microsoft Office
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills, project management skills, and the ability to multitask
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • The ability to effectively work with others throughout the organization

  • Frequent deadlines must be met requiring a fast pace of work and stress
  • Regular contact with co-workers
  • Continuous use of hands for writing and computer keyboard

  • Ability to work at a desk throughout the day

Equipment Used:

Regularly uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard and terminal, telephone, fax and copier.

Work Environment:

Work will typically be performed Monday through Friday. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required.
