IBM TRIRIGA Training - Change Management

The Training & Change Management lead is a designated Key Personnel role responsible for the strategy, content development, and delivery of instructional programs for the TRIRIGA IWMS. This role ensures IRS user readiness for released functionality and manages the workforce impact of system updates through structured change management processes.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for TCM: TBD

Pay commensurate with experience.

TCM Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement a Change Management Plan to minimize the impact of system changes on the IRS workforce, including necessary notifications to business units.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive Training Plan that follows IRS Classroom Instructor Training Course (CITC) formats and standards.
  • Design, develop, and update 508-compliant training materials, including lesson plans, facilitation slide decks, instructor guides, and participant manuals.
  • Deliver training through various formats, including instructor-led sessions (virtual or in-person), computer-based training (CBT), webinars, and video tutorials.
  • Tailor instructional support for distinct user groups: System Administrators, Power Users (CAFM Staff), FMSS General Users, and Service-wide Users.
  • Maintain and update course content specifically for Reservation Management, Occupancy Management, Space Management, and LES Classroom Management.
  • Provide recurring training and material updates to support maintenance releases, system upgrades, and minor enhancements.
  • Ensure all training sessions align with the IRS instructional methodology: "Tell, Show, Ask, Try, Do"

TCM Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing and delivering federal-agency training programs or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating accessible training artifacts in accordance with Section 508 standards.
  • Familiarity with IRS-approved virtual delivery platforms such as Adobe Connect or Microsoft Teams.
  • Proven ability to manage user adoption and change management across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and clear communication skills for effective end-user engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IBM TRIRIGA modules and functionality to effectively translate technical features into user-friendly guides.
  • Capability to deliver Application Builder Training for System Administrators and Advanced Report Manager courses.
  • Understanding of TRIRIGA Cloud-Based SaaS environments for remote access training
  • Minimum Security Level:
    • Tier 4 Public Trust (High Risk/Sensitive)
    • Must comply with IRS HSPD-12 PIV procedures and complete IRS Security Awareness Training
  • Must pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
