Security Officer - Auto Auction Patrol

As a Security Officer - Auto Auntion Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will complete unarmed patrols, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, assist employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and document observations using site tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech and media location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and/or communications equipment, reporting unusual conditions per post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
