What You'll Be Doing
Partner with Business Development to drive new client relationships and expand existing partnerships. Develop and execute overall prospect and client engagement strategies in collaboration with crossfunctional teams. Report on sales and performance metrics and recommend improvements. Support new business development activities from RFP response to account closure, including CDA and MSA processes. Research and identify methods to improve customer engagement. Ensure compliance with sales, finance, and legal policies and procedures. Collaborate with Business Development and Division leaders to ensure consistent messaging across inbound and outbound campaigns. Generate qualified prospects through diligent lead followup, mining, and nurturing activities. Expand outreach and strengthen relationships with key client executives. Conduct tactical research on organizations and contacts using internal and external data resources to increase new contacts and sales opportunities. Perform discovery to understand client needs and determine tailored solutions. Meet with prospects and clients to discuss requirements and opportunities. Recommend and implement improvements to the sales cadence process. Identify best practices and successful client engagement approaches to support scalable growth. Use Salesforce to accurately track activities and maintain lead, account, and opportunity data. Develop custom Salesforce reports and review data for quality and consistency.
What We Look For
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience in sales or operations, preferably with customer relationship management, inside sales, and/or life sciences exposure. Proven success fostering highquality account relationships. Knowledge of clinical trial design and drug development preferred. Ability to develop strong, wellpositioned documents and presentations. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office; understanding of basic financial concepts. Demonstrated competencies including crossfunctional collaboration, results orientation, customer focus, active listening, strong communication (verbal and written), negotiation, presentation skills, organizational agility, time management, business acumen, interpersonal savvy, and integrity.
