Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and collaborative Mid-Level Product Designer to join a growing product design team. This role is responsible for designing and evolving digital products that deliver meaningful, accessible, and intuitive user experiences. The Product Designer works closely with product owners, product specialists, engineers, and fellow designers and researchers to translate customer needs and business requirements into functional, user-centered solutions. Under the guidance of senior design leaders, this role ensures the voice of the customer is reflected in well-crafted, technically feasible designs that support product strategy and execution. Job Responsibilities**
Collaborate with lead designers to finalize feature designs, expand workflows to address all relevant use cases, and develop interactive prototypes with detailed design annotations.
Translate business and technical requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that align with technical constraints.
Ensure all designs meet established accessibility standards and usability best practices.
Partner with product owners and agile teams to accurately represent design solutions within epics, features, and user stories.
Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily standups to support effective design implementation.
Adapt designs based on stakeholder feedback and evolving project priorities.
Conduct design quality assurance to ensure developed solutions meet design specifications and standards.
Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to better understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points.
Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
Present research insights, design concepts, and prototypes to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements.
Communicate design decisions clearly to developers, product managers, and business stakeholders while advocating for the user experience.
Collaborate with engineers to clarify design details during implementation.
Contribute to the improvement of design processes by documenting methods and promoting best practices.
Explore and test innovative ideas that enhance simplicity, consistency, and overall product quality.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital product design for web and mobile platforms.
Experience designing for B2B platforms or complex systems.
Experience designing accessible user interfaces for complex applications, with familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards.
Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems.
Experience creating user flows, wireframes, detailed design annotations, and interactive prototypes.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing, including analyzing and presenting findings.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
Strong understanding of UI and UX principles with the ability to translate business needs into intuitive designs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with the ability to balance detailed problem-solving and strategic thinking.
Ability to work effectively within agile teams to support efficient implementation of design solutions.
Education
Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Work Experience
