As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees, visitors, and drivers with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations using site technology and partner with your team to respond to concerns with integrity, reliability, agility, and a people-first mindset.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, yard, loading dock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property loss.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying visitor and contractor credentials, issuing directions, and maintaining visitor, delivery, and/or key control logs as required.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by monitoring truck and trailer traffic, observing dock door activity, and documenting unusual conditions and/or incidents according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
