STS Line Maintenance is one of the largest line maintenance support providers in the United States. Our rapid-response, nationwide network delivers high-quality aircraft maintenance services to commercial operators across the country.

Pay rates range between $32 and $40 per hour DOE.


Position Summary

The A&P Aviation Maintenance Technician supports the daily maintenance needs of airline customers while ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable aircraft operations.

This position reports directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads and works closely with field airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.

Work will be performed on Airbus A320 aircraft.


Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and best practices
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair transport category aircraft airframes and engines
  • Use hand tools and test equipment to perform maintenance and diagnostics
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on test results and maintenance documentation
  • Follow maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks, and technical data
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear
  • Work outdoors and in inclement weather as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification with no history of infractions
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft preferred
  • Previous experience on commercial and large regional aircraft strongly preferred
  • Own standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tooling provided)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand, climb ladders and stairs, and lift 50 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to pass background check, drug and alcohol test, and obtain Customs and Border Patrol clearance
  • Basic-to-mid-level computer and organizational skills
  • Experience under an FAA approved Part 145 repair station required; Part 135 experience preferred
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills

Rate of Pay


  • $32 to $40 per hour DOE
