Wieland is hiring a Metals Management Analyst. The Metals Management Analyst assists with daily metals hedge execution in alignment with Wieland Group Risk Management Guidelines, supporting primary metals purchasing activities, and ensuring continuity of raw material supply to production facilities. The position partners closely with the Metals Management and Supply Chain teams to develop and maintain process documentation, generate KPI-driven analysis to enhance EBITDA and working capital, and lead SAP-related activities for the team. Additionally, the role provides analytical support and contributes to ad hoc projects to drive operational efficiency and business performance.

This role is located in Louisville, KY and will be on-site.



Responsibilities

Metals Management Analyst Responsibilities:

    Support the procurement of prime and alloying materials for all North American foundries through creations of purchase orders, invoice management, spot buys and coordination of deliveries to meet the needs of the business.
  • Support reporting requirements as it pertains to prime materials for sustainability and other regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate the price fixation process for sales orders for WNA businesses support with reporting as required.
  • Conduct regular audits of SAP data to ensure accuracy; collaborate with BU stakeholders as needed to validate data.
  • Collaborate with metals management team to create, update and organize department records for business processes, business systems, vendor contracts, hedge broker records and other important documents.
  • Reconcile invoices with purchases at plants and assist finance organization in closing activities related to inter-company movement of metals.

Metals Management Analyst Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing, supply chain or business experience required.
  • B.S. degree in Business or technical related discipline required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members and other departments within the organization.
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, SAP and Oracle.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability/aspirations to live the Wieland vision and values.
