Analytical Chemist - Scientist I (CDMO)

Location: Wixom, MI
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

About the Role

We are seeking a detailoriented Analytical Chemist (Scientist I) to join our CDMO team in Wixom, MI. In this role, you will perform and review analytical testing to support smallmolecule and biologics development, contribute to method development and validation, and ensure accurate, compliant documentation of laboratory activities. This position is ideal for a scientist with strong analytical skills who thrives in a collaborative, fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and review analytical testing using HPLC, GC, and related instrumentation following SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist in development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods to support formulation and process development.
  • Interpret analytical data to guide formulation decisions and identify trends or issues.
  • Assist in preparing reports, technical documentation, and data summaries.
  • Participate in crossfunctional projects, contributing to timelines and communication.
  • Ensure adherence to GLP/GMP, safety practices, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant laboratory experience in analytical chemistry or CDMO/pharma environment.
  • Proficiency with analytical instrumentation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong data analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team orientedoriented setting.

Preferred Competencies

  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry and concepts in developing and validating methods to meet appropriate pharmaceutical standards.
  • Experience with method development and method lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including GMP, GLP, ICH, USP and other industry guidelines.
