Summary:

Provide assistance to the Manson Corporate Marketing Department in promotional efforts. Main duties include completing clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns and preparing promotional materials and presentations. This position provides the opportunity for a marketing intern to work in the office to gain knowledge vital to marketing and communications.

This position will be for the Summer of 2026.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media and web)
  • Assist with proposal response efforts from initial review, strategy development, production, and submittal.
  • Support the creation of marketing content
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Prepare promotional presentations
  • Help distribute marketing materials
  • Update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Assist with the setup, facilitation and completion of marketing events
  • Maintain professional relationships with company employees, customers and so forth.
  • Utilize a courteous, enthusiastic, open-minded, critical approach to policies and procedures within the profession.
  • Relate and apply knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the company setting.
  • Develop self-awareness in regard to attitudes, values, behavior patterns, and so forth that influences work.
  • Prepare for and utilize conferences and other opportunities of learning afforded in the company.
  • Be consistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignments to the supervisor and faculty coordinator.
  • Ensures compliance with Manson's Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.
  • Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities desired in candidates.



  • Enrolled in a four-year marketing, communications, journalism, English, Graphic Design, Advertising, or similar degree program from a nationally accredited college or university
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

This position is primarily an office-based job based out of Seattle, WA office.

Physical Demands

Position is primarily an office position, performs work at a desk. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
