Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help reduce the risk of unauthorized activity.
• Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification and/or authorization, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
