The ASSOCIATE BUSINESS OPERATIONS ANALYST will recommend strategies to optimize business operations in alignment with organizational objectives with manager guidance. Contributes to planning by analyzing market trends and identifying product and service improvement opportunities. Utilizes data analysis, project management methodologies, and industry best practices to develop, implement, and monitor process improvement initiatives. Creates and maintains performance metrics and reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:

Identify specific business opportunities and ways to capitalize on them.

Influence collaborators to support business projects.

Assist with project management for selected projects.

Coordinate with different departmental teams to improve productivity.

Test business processes and recommend improvements.

Identify automation opportunities within the office.

Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance.

Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.

Communicate and validate requirements with relevant collaborators.

Develop and maintain reporting tools.

Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling.

Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.

2-4 years of related experience.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Ability to analyze information, identify root causes of problems, and evaluate potential solutions.

Skill in collecting, interpreting, and making data-driven decisions, including using tools like SQL and Excel for analysis, manipulation, and visualization.

Aptitude for identifying business needs and creating viable solutions.

Ability to conduct market and competitor analysis and gather information from various sources to inform decisions.

Understanding of business strategies, goals, and how different parts of the organization work together.

Familiarity with the specific industry or subject matter of the business.

Ability to create clear and detailed documents, such as requirement specifications.

Ability to understand financial concepts, perform cost-benefit analysis, and use financial modeling tools.

Flexibility to adjust to changing project needs, methodologies, and requirements.
