Job Description




As a Security Officer Community Patrol Driver in Cherry Hills Village, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will conduct routine mobile patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to resident and visitor concerns with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community streets, common areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with resident and guest entry processes per site guidelines, and report concerns to management and/or appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes when feasible and requesting assistance from emergency services when needed.
  • Complete patrol logs and incident reports, document observations clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
