As a Security Officer- Power Plant Rover Driver in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete vehicle and foot rounds, and support access control and visitor screening. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. Through teamwork and integrity, you will help reduce security-related issues while maintaining a visible presence.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, checking for unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or operational issues.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and controlled areas, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and maintaining accurate logs and reports.
• Complete routine reporting and incident documentation, support security-related inspections and/or escorts, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
