As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage access control at key entry points, greet residents and guests, and verify credentials to help support a welcoming environment. You will monitor activity in assigned areas, document security-related observations, and communicate clearly with site staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Control access to the property by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor sign-in procedures, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing authorized persons to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, alarms, and/or camera systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision to help to reduce risk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when directed, documenting actions taken, and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and/or exterior areas, including common areas and perimeter points, observing for maintenance concerns, unauthorized activity, and other conditions requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
