As a Security Officer - Warehouse Gate Desk in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will support access control by checking credentials, managing badges, and guiding visitors and drivers through entry procedures. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following post orders, access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control entry and exit at gates, guard shacks, and/or lobby access points by verifying identification, issuing badges, managing visitor and vendor logs, and directing traffic to approved areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and trailer movements by checking seals, bills of lading, appointment details, and/or driver credentials, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and coordinating with on-site management and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, yards, and perimeter to help to identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations, then complete required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience - 6+ Months.
• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
