  • Java21 Full Stack, gRPC, Cockroach, Oracle 19, and Spring Framework/Spring boot, Kafka, MQ, Envoy proxy.
  • As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.
  • You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders daily to stay focused on common goals.

This job requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • 8 years Java (using Spring technology stack and Java21).
  • Strong understanding of micro-service design pattern and building low latency high tps gRPC apis.
  • Proficient in database SQL and/or modeling on Cockroach and Oracle.
  • Proven experience architecting and implementing multi-region CockroachDB clusters with geo-proximity routing for high availability and low-latency applications.
  • Proficient in Kafka and MQ messaging.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems.
  • 1 yr in React, Angular, or another UI JavaScript framework.
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets.
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture.
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
  • Understanding software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement.
