We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Frontend Software Engineer with expertise in React development to join our small, high-performing team. You'll build scalable software systems that power the manufacturing of innovative products like vehicles, superchargers, and energy storage solutions as well as our next generation of products. The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting world-class software, has a proven track record in scalable enterprise systems, and thrives in collaborative environments. Strong software engineering fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and experience with technical design are essential. Preferred Fremont, CA; open to Austin, TX or Reno, NV.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code that addresses real-world manufacturing challenges
- Lead end-to-end requirements and architectural design through implementation, testing, and production deployment
- Prioritize robust, production-critical systems with strong validation, monitoring, and support mechanisms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience (5+ years preferred)
- Proven experience with React web development, Typescript, HTML and CSS
- Create reusable UI components to accelerate frontend development
- Basic understanding of backend technologies like Go, Java, C++, Rust or similar
- Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies, such as HTTP(S), REST, WebSockets, and JSON
- Experience working and manipulating responses from RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in rigorous software development practices, including version control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from concept to production

Expected Compensation
$168,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
