Job Summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Facilities Analytics Specialist IV to serve as the primary analytics resource for the Facilities Division. In this pivotal role, you will transform complex operational data into actionable insights, driving improvements in building performance, service delivery, and capital and space planning strategies.

The ideal candidate will oversee and enhance the management of Facilities data systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across diverse platforms such as Archibus, TMA, Sunflower, and more. In addition to, you will develop sophisticated dashboards and reporting tools that enable streamlined decision-making for cross-functional teams, including Operations, Engineering & Design, Construction, Real Estate, and Space Planning. S/he will also collect, compile, and analyze Facilities data and metrics, turning raw data into clear business recommendations and innovative solutions that optimize performance and strategic planning. This role is ideal for a proactive analytics professional who excels at leveraging data to drive operational excellence and strategic initiatives within a dynamic aerospace environment.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Data Management & Quality: maintain and improve Facilities data across systems such as Archibus, CMMS, ERP/PPM, and Workday; establish Facilities-specific data standards, definitions, and validation checks to ensure reliable reporting; conduct routine data audits to identify and correct inconsistencies or gaps; serve as the Facilities data steward, ensuring internal alignment on coding structures, hierarchies, and data sources
  • Analytics & Reporting: build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports that track Facilities Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including maintenance performance, service levels, space utilization, project milestones, operating costs, etc; develop trend analyses and models to support forecasting, resourcing, and capital planning; analyze maintenance, space, cost, and project data to identify performance gaps and opportunities; convert complex datasets into executive-ready insights, visuals, and summaries
  • Operational & Project Support: provide analytic support to modernization projects, space planning efforts, and portfolio optimization; support Facilities leadership with scenarios, data pulls, and performance insights; contribute analytics for leadership briefs and governance reviews; partner with Facilities teams to ensure reporting reflects operational reality
  • System Integration & Enhancement: collaborate with IT and OCIO partners to ensure Facilities data flows correctly between systems; improve reporting tools and automate recurring processes; recommend enhancements to strengthen analytics and reporting capabilities

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements for the Facilities Analytics Specialist IV include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analyticsor related technical discipline is required
  • A minimum of (10) or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience is required
  • Proven track record of converting complex data sets into clear, strategic, and actionable insights that drive process improvements and support informed decision-making
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting in-depth research and comprehensive analyses to uncover trends, solve complex problems, and inform business strategies

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
