Job Description

The Financial Consultant analyzes and communicates financial results for key products, markets and initiatives, develops compelling story lines to help deepen client insights and recommends creative actions to guide strategy and operations. This role formulates financial projections to support in predicting and tracking performance and diagnosing potential issues.

About the Role

We're looking for a detaildriven, curious, and businessminded analyst who loves turning data into insight and insight into action. In this role, you'll partner directly with leaders across the organization to shape decisions, influence strategy, and help drive performance forward.

PLEASE NOTE: We're seeking Chicago based candidates to consider for this role. The role will be remote with the expectation to be on site/in person in Chicago on occasion.

What You'll Do

Deliver meaningful financial insights

  • Produce accurate, timely reports that help business partners understand performance and make smarter decisions.

Turn analysis into action

  • Analyze trends, identify emerging issues, and use data to influence leaders across finance and the business.
  • Provide a forwardlooking perspective that helps shape strategies and guide next steps.

Tell the financial story

  • Prepare clear, compelling updates that highlight key drivers and translate complex data into businessready insights.
  • Build narratives that connect the dots and explain how individual data points fit into the bigger picture.

Lead conversations that matter

  • Partner with leadership to discuss the business implications of trends and analysis.
  • Facilitate productive discussions that help leaders understand not just what is happening, but why.

Present with confidence

  • Create and deliver effective presentations for small groups, helping stakeholders quickly grasp insights and take action.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a similar role (preferred).
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect details to strategy.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills-you're comfortable explaining the "so what" behind the numbers.
  • Someone who's proactive, curious, and excited to partner with leaders.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not include direct supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 56,000.00 - 92,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
