The purpose of the Assistant Controller position is to assist with managing Division finances to ensure operational and financial objectives for Accounting are met and maintained. * Supervise activities of Accounting personnel, including Accounts Payable, Payroll and Cashiers. * Collaborate with BEK personnel to oversee contract pricing and all Vendor Payment Tracking (VPT) programs, ensuring internal controls are met and maintained. * Function as primary support to Controller on all aspects of Month End Closing including reconciliation of departmental gross profit. * Manage petty cash account and field and departmental deposit activity, as well as perform account reconciliations and invoice register maintenance. * Collaborate with Division Controller and perform associated administrative duties. * Provide information and research support to internal and external auditors at fiscal year end, and as required. * Perform additional miscellaneous tasks as needed. Job Qualifications * BA in Accounting, Finance, or similar field * CPA a plus * At least 8 years of previous industry experience * Proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office * Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications, including BEK Mainframe * Proven track record of outstanding performance and increasing responsibility Ben E.
