Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Market Leader/President, the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a key member of the Executive Leadership team who actively partners with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to organize, direct, evaluate and integrate the delivery of patient care and clinical services. In collaboration with the System Leadership, the CNO has authority and accountability for delivery of services by assigned departments including support of community strategies designed to integrate interventions across the healthcare continuum. Through collaboration with clinical, system and physician leadership strives for seamlessness and efficiency in delivering care. Key activities include best practice delivery, program planning, operational analysis, financial analysis, problem resolution, personnel management, and process improvement. Serves as the lead for their regional site for all nursing practice and coordinates strategy with other regional leaders.
