Role Summary The Solution Architect - Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) is a senior leadership role responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering complex enterprise ERP solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices and customer business outcomes. The Solution Architect leads end-to-end solution design across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations domains, guiding cross-functional teams from presales through implementation, optimization, and post-go-live support. Key Responsibilities
- Own overall solution architecture for Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain implementations, upgrades, and rollouts
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, integrated D365 F&SCM solutions
- Design end-to-end process flows across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Order Management
- Define integration architecture with third-party systems, ISVs, legacy ERPs, and Microsoft ecosystem solutions
- Lead data migration strategy, cutover planning, and performance optimization
- Ensure solution compliance with security, audit, regulatory, and governance standards
- Provide technical and functional leadership to functional consultants, developers, and integration teams
- Lead design workshops, solution blueprinting, and architecture governance reviews
- Act as escalation point for complex solution and performance issues
- Support presales activities including solution visioning, estimates, architecture decks, and RFP responses
- Collaborate with Microsoft FastTrack, product teams, and partner ecosystem as required
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of ERP consulting experience with at least 5+ years on Dynamics 365 F&SCM
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large, multi-entity ERP implementations
- Deep functional knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Trade & Logistics modules
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 extensibility, integrations, and data architecture
- Excellent stakeholder communication and executive-level presentation skills
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Experience delivering projects via hybrid waterfall/agile methodologies including Scrum and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs)
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with global rollouts, multi-legal entity, and multi-currency deployments
- Knowledge of Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions)
- Familiarity with ISVs and industry accelerators
- Microsoft certifications such as MB-700, MB-310, MB-330/340
Technical Expertise
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management architecture, including extensibility, security framework, and performance optimization
- Advanced understanding of Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Asset Management modules
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 data model, dual-write concepts, and Dataverse integration patterns
- Experience designing integration architectures using Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory, and REST/OData APIs
- Proven ability to design and govern customizations, extensions, and ISV solutions while minimizing technical debt
- Expertise in data migration strategy, reconciliation, and cutover planning for complex ERP landscapes
- Knowledge of role-based security, segregation of duties (SoD), audit controls, and compliance requirements
- Experience with Lifecycle Services (LCS), deployment pipelines, environment strategy, and release management
- Understanding of performance tuning, batch framework optimization, and system monitoring
- Ability to align technical architecture with Microsoft product roadmap and best practices
