The Opportunity:

As anEngineering Cell Lead, you understand the workings behind complex systemsand architecturesthat support Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) programs.That knowledge is key when it comes to providingtechnical oversight and direct support with advancedAir, Ground, andMaritimeISRsystems integration throughout the critical operational environments across global installations.

Our team performs a wide range of technicaldevelopment, engineering, integration, cybersecurity, and testing of existing and new systems inclusive of Cloud transport, SD-WAN/LAN network transport infrastructure and configurations, RF/SATCOM communication systems, and the associated cybersecurity postureformannedand unmanned ISR assetsrequiredunder theDoW.This includesimplementing best practices to enhance the C2ISR system performance andguaranteeoperational stability of infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems.

That'swhy we need you, aSystemsEngineer, whounderstands what "No-Fail" means andcanprovide technical leadership encompassing design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and optimization formannedand unmanned C2ISRsystems. Additionally, you'lldirect, advise, and assist with operational site integrations, proactively monitor current architecture while looking for future requirements, monitor system functionality, manage security compliance with established military standards, develop integrated master schedules, reinforce configuration management rigor and standards, and directly report, advise and direct on behalf of the government customer. You will coordinate efforts with the on-site Systems Integration Lab (SIL) to ensure seamless performance and robust system health.

You Have:

  • 10+ yearsofexperienceensuring reliableoperations of RF, SATCOMchannels,transportnetworks,and mission communications in support ofC2ISR operations
  • 10+ years of experience supervisingcross-functional teams, including senior systems engineers,tooptimizecore systems,conductingrobust network and software testing, and sustaining operational reliability
  • Ability to prepare written documents, including reports, test plans, design specifications, requirements documents, and training materials
  • Ability to brief and present findings to clients, customers, and external partners, interact with client engineers, and respond to technical questions and requests from customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree inan Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurityfield
  • DoD 8570/ 8140 IAT Level IIcertification, such as Security+, CASP+, or CISSP
  • CCNA, CCNP, AWS Cloud Architect,or CSEPcertification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience withU.S. SOCOMSensor Data Transport Infrastructure and its supporting communications architecture such asUVDS connectivity
  • Experience with DoW ISR Sensor Data Transport Infrastructure anditssupporting communications architecture
  • Experience withOEM-Specific downlink and processing gateways, black and red-side configurations, or terrestrial network connectivity and associated distribution solutions
  • Experience with sensor producing platform integration,SATCOM Ground Terminals used to downlink the produced sensor data, the processing and distribution ground entry points and gateways used to process and distribute the sensor data, and the terrestrial transport used to route and deliver the processed sensor data to the intended and authorized consumers
  • TS/SCIclearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
