Responsible for managing all aspects of a program and corresponding projects. Implements initiatives that support alignment with organizational goals and strategic planning. Leads the communication and collaboration with stakeholders. Develops the program schedule, budget, and various program and project plan details. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and provides regular updates to program leadership. Identifies and escalates issues and risks and recommends solutions. Leads and provides guidance and support to other administrative team members.

Essential Functions
-Leads program and project teams and coordinates and delegates cross-project initiatives.
-Conducts research, manages and analyzes data in systems, and develops reports and presentations to support programs.
-Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges associated with programs and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
-Monitor program progress and proactively address deviations from plans, timelines, or budgets.
-Manages the program budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines. rts the mission of the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women's Health Research by providing support for a portfolio of research initiatives, programs and administrative functions. This role is responsible for managing research operations across the lifecycle and supporting administrative projects across multiple initiatives within the Center.
The Project Manager will provide key support to the Laboratory of Sex-Informed Translational Neuroscience, led by Dr. Primavera Spagnolo, and contribute administrative and research coordination support to additional Connors Center programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Research Project Management
*Manage multiple research and programmatic projects from initiation through completion, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and reporting.
*Coordinate study start-up activities, including regulatory submissions, IRB processes, and institutional approvals, in collaboration with research compliance offices.
*Support grant-funded projects by tracking deliverables, progress reports, and funding timelines in partnership with investigators and grants administration.
*Facilitate cross-functional communication among faculty, research staff, trainees, and institutional stakeholders.
*Assist with financial tasks, including budget tracking and purchasing.
*Create SOPs and manage data collection, entry, and organization.
*Support data analysis, as well as the preparation of abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and other research outputs.
Research Communication and Operational Support
*Coordinate meetings, retreats, and events, including agenda development, logistics, and follow-up action items related to key research priorities
*Lead the research Center's communication and social media activities, including developing and executing communication plans.
*Create and curate scientific and research related content for website updates, newsletters, emails, social media, and research briefs to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
*Support planning, coordination, and promotion of Connors Center research events and initiatives.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services preferred

Experience
Program Management Experience 2-3 years required

- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and delegate tasks, manage timelines, and drive results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with medical professionals, faculty, and staff at all levels.
