Role Summary: Reporting to the Business Development Sales Manager, the Account Representative is a key member of the Business Development team. This role is responsible for prospecting new accounts and growing existing customer accounts that are not actively managed. This is a proactive sales role requiring this person to cold call potential new customers and regularly contact existing customers through phone calls and other communication methods. This will include engaging with the customer in a friendly and polite manner, assessing the customer's needs, answering customer questions, and being knowledgeable of Kendall's products and services.

Exciting work you will do:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Account Representative position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Drive new business by reaching out to potential customers and managing accounts to promote and sell Kendall's products through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Close sales and build relationships by delivering exceptional service and contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Develop opportunities by taking ownership of leads from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts, converting them into long-term partnerships.
  • Boost sales by recommending related products, highlighting features and benefits, and analyzing prior buying history to offer the best solutions.
  • Manage quotes and customer inquiries by providing detailed product quotes and answering questions about credit terms, warranties, delivery expectations, and other topics.
  • Collaborate across teams by working closely with marketing and product experts to provide tailored support and relevant materials.
  • Act as a liaison between Kendall resources to resolve account issues efficiently, including warranty, repair, and project-related concerns.
  • Stay informed on current, new, and evolving product offerings to effectively assist customers.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including account details, contact information, and opportunity pipeline updates.
  • Deliver exceptional service by responding promptly to incoming calls, emails, and customer requests and ensuring a high-quality experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
