ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate implementation of EHS systems including Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, and medical programs, with primary emphasis on proactive safety leadership and risk elimination. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a twoyear college in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent verifiable experience. Bachelor of Science preferred. Experience in industrial or manufacturing Safety program coordination strongly preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate is strongly preferred. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Aboveaverage math skills with ability to measure, weigh, and calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume. Understanding of basic geometry and statistics. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, identify root causes, evaluate risk, and draw valid conclusions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and promote safe behaviors at all levels of the organization.
