| Job Summary |
The position is responsible for providing expertise to implement, develop, and evaluate enrollment initiatives, develop recruitment strategies, and assist the Teacher Development Center with strategic implementation of recruitment activities by identifying strong recruitment approaches and developing outreach programs. |
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Bachelor's degree in a related field, with five years of experience working with students and programs in higher education, or related community programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Preferred Education and Experience |
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership or a related education field preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in higher education or K-12 education.
- Experience in academic advising, supervision, program coordination, or a related area demonstrating knowledge of academic programs required.

| Other Qualifications |
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
* Coordinate and track certification and program milestones based on advisorapproved
plans, ensuring required documentation and deadlines are met.
* Maintain tracking tools and reports related to student participation status,
placements, and certification processes; escalate concerns to program leadership
as appropriate.
* Maintain accurate and complete student records to support program
operations, compliance, and institutional reporting requirements.
* Support student engagement initiatives by coordinating outreach efforts and
facilitating referrals to appropriate university resources.
* Compile and organize academic audits and certification documentation for
review and approval by prior to supervised teaching placements.
* Coordinate with the Director of the Teacher Development Center and program
leadership to support the implementation of course schedules, sequencing
updates, and approved program changes through accurate communication and
documentation.
* Coordinate logistics for recruitment and outreach activities, including
scheduling events, preparing materials, and managing participation for transfer
initiatives, Scholars Day, statewide recruitment efforts, and classroom
presentations.
* Support recruitment activities by coordinating group information sessions and
managing communications with prospective students and families; does not
provide individualized academic advising or degree planning.
* Maintain professional knowledge related to program operations, policies, and
procedures through training and collaboration with colleagues.
* Perform other duties as assigned in support of program operations for the
Teacher Development Center. |
