What You'll Do



  • Perform functional testing on heavy track maintenance and industrial equipment using approved procedures
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems to identify non-conformance issues
  • Audit completed assemblies against design specifications and internal/external quality standards
  • Document test results, defects, and corrective actions through detailed written reports
  • Communicate testing completion and repair needs clearly to operations, engineering, and supply chain teams
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D to resolve build or test issues prior to shipment
  • Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining equipment test procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and performance
  • Perform additional duties as needed, with training provided when required




What You Bring



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of troubleshooting experience with heavy equipment or similar machinery
  • Strong general mechanical skills with hands-on experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems
  • Proficiency working with PLC and CAN-bus systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
  • Experience using diagnostic and measurement tools such as flow meters, pressure gauges, and voltage meters
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, bend, and work around moving machinery in a production environment
