Job Title: Service Engineer Location(s): Memphis About the Role We are seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to support enterprise data center and server environments, including next-generation AI-capable platforms. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on maintaining system uptime and resolving complex hardware issues. Prior AI experience is not required-strong server and data center fundamentals are essential. Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for enterprise servers and data center hardware.
- Perform server builds, swaps, and hardware replacements (CPU, memory, power supplies, GPUs).
- Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and operating system issues (Linux preferred).
- Execute reactive and preventive maintenance following defined procedures.
- Document work performed and collaborate with internal teams.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in data center, field service, or technical support roles.
- Hands-on experience with server hardware and deployments.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on-site daily.
Preferred
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Vendor certifications (e.g., Dell).
- Experience with PC builds or water-cooled servers.
Schedule:
- Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (on-call and off-shift support as needed)
