Department:IT | Technical Application SupportDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Senior Enterprise Operations Database Administrator performs activities related to the installation, configuration, and administration of the UAMS Business Intelligence technical infrastructure. This includes installation, configuration, and support of all hardware and software related to Microsoft Windows Server, MS SQL Server, Epic Clarity Databases, Epic Caboodle Databases, SlicerDicer, Cubes, Epic Data Warehouse, & Epic ETL. The administrator will work closely and effectively with technical teams, customers, analyst teams, vendor support, and management to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems and the UAMS IT infrastructure. Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements. Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions. Analyze systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements. Provides top tier support for UAMS Information Technology. Conducts tasks and assignments as directed.**This position is participating in a group 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year on-call rotation where each member of the group takes call for 1 week at a time. Recognized as advanced individual contributor. Works with limited supervision with extensive latitude for independent judgment.
