This position is for a Utility Technician in a Biomedical Center who will handle the flow of biomedical devices. The role requires working Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and involves various responsibilities related to processing medical equipment.

• Managing inbound and outbound flow of biomedical devices
• Performing data entry for inventory management
• Receiving, cleaning, and packaging medical devices
• Shipping outbound devices to customers or facilities
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling potentially infectious materials
• Validating receipts and ensuring accuracy of received items
• Maintaining clean work areas for safety and compliance
• Meeting individual and department productivity goals

• Minimum 1+ years of related experience
• Prior shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good decision-making abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

The position is based in a fast-paced biomedical center environment where teamwork and communication are essential. The technician must be comfortable working with medical devices that may have been exposed to biological materials, hence the PPE requirements. The role may also require forklift certification for warehouse operations.
