Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager, Revenue to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience and a CPA. In this high-visibility role, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires attendance in the Atlanta or Morristown office on a hybrid basis.

Whatyou'lldo:

  • Lead thegeneral ledger process to estimate and record revenue for the Zelis Price business unit. This includes the calculation of monthly revenueand AR reserve estimates.

  • Support the monthly calculation of revenue KPIsand other critical estimatesthatdrive business results and informbusinessactions.

  • Support process improvement,standardization, and automationinitiativesin the order-to-cash process

  • Performanalyticreviewof revenueresults and document analysis.

  • Design andmaintainstrong internal controls surrounding key processes (BS account recs, accounting estimates, etc.) and ensure data integrity across all financial reporting.

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with external auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliveraccurate, transparent, andtimelyreporting anddeliverables.

Whatyou'llbring to Zelis:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountingand at least 6 years of relevant experience.

  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Proven experience in accounting management, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, operational accounting, and internal controls.

  • Proficiencyin accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, withkeenattention to detailand a curiousmindset.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$95,000.00 - $120,650.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
