Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Program Director - RN Preferred - Full-time (Integrated Health Solutions) - Remote U.S. to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

  • As a Program Director, you will be in a key leadership role in managing and overseeing healthcare programs with high complexity. You will ensure that programs are executed effectively, on time, and within budget.

    This position involves managing processes, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and coordinating efforts across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services that meet client expectations and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate healthcare programs, ensuring the successful delivery of services, projects, and deliverables on schedule and within budget.
  • Monitor program performance metrics, quality performance, deliverables, and budgets to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and organizational goals.
  • Identify and address operational challenges, leveraging problem-solving skills to deliver practical solutions.
  • Maintain strong, effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as a primary point of contact for program-related communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, technical, and administrative personnel, to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures to continuously improve program efficiency and outcomes.
  • Manage program risk by identifying potential issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring readiness for program launch and day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare status reports and updates for internal leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives to ensure program activities align with organizational goals. Contribute to growth and innovation through ongoing program improvements.
  • Provide operational oversight and guidance to team members responsible for specific program functions or phases.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to support new business opportunities as requested.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

  • Medicaid, Medicare, or healthcare verticals domain knowledge.
  • Familiarity with clinical or healthcare operations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address program challenges and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage program budgets effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and proven ability to learn proprietary software applications.
  • Travel up to 10%, program dependent.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted, Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Master's degree (or higher level of education) in business, healthcare, nursing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of best practices in healthcare operations.
  • Knowledge of government policies and organizational structures.
  • Knowledge of metrics, productivity measures, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory agency compliance.
  • Knowledge of contract development and implementation.
  • Budget and financial skills.
  • Able to lead and manage direct reports to achieve contract deliverables.
  • Aptitude for systems planning and task prioritization.
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills; uses appropriate interpersonal skills with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide supervision to clinical, supervisory, and managerial staff that ensures excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and supervision to ensure contract deliverables are met across all operations.
  • Provide timely data analysis and reporting that supports the client's goals for quality care and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide consultation to clients on system and healthcare policy issues.

Pay Range

USD $120,700.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
