Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Kennesaw, GA, Charlotte, NC, and Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for Data Retention and Supervision technologies for Electronic Communication data
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, communicate to the end users, and work closely with engineering, supply chain, marketing, operations and support to ensure financial and customer satisfaction goals are met
- Ensure that critical interactions are maintained with key vendors who are aligned to meet project goals; maintain relationships with internal vendor management teams to ensure satisfactory contract negotiations
- Ensure that the product and communication efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals
- Ensure smooth execution for critical initiatives, ensure customer experience is maximized and time to market goals are met for a portfolio of products impacting all business units across a large financial services enterprise
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Understand and represent the needs and requirements of the customers
- Deliver requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Drive new product enhancements/updates through the development process lifecycle
- Perform product demos and orchestrate training for customers
- Propose an overall budget and secure funding to ensure success
- Set pricing to meet recovery and financial goals
- Work with external third parties as required
- Develop and manage the core positioning and messaging for the product
- Deliver monthly metrics including volume, savings, and expenses with forecasts
- Run beta and POC programs with early-stage products and samples
- Be an expert with respect to alterative/competing products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Information Technology professional with 7+ years' experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management
- Strong understanding of product management discipline, including new product development, testing and deployment
- Experience and understanding of regulatory requirements and obligations for retention, supervision and discovery of electronic communication
- Prior experience in a high-volume production environment
- Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex situations/inputs and communicate it via clear/concise documents, presentations, etc.
- Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills
- Comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
- Strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Strong business-centric mindset with ability to use sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive desired business outcomes
- Ability to manage complex priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines
- Experience with technology deployment processes
- Demonstrated success defining and launching products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical background
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and drive results with cross-functional teams without formal authority
Desired skills:
- Experience with Archival, Messaging, Data Analytics and Data Management technologies
- Experience working in a highly regulated financial institution
- Product Management Certification
