Engineering Technician

Role: Engineering Technician (Autocad)

Location: Austin Texas 78744

Salary: $20 - 26/hr. on W2

Duration : 6 months contract with possible extension

Job description:
This is a basic role they will be drawing lines all day.
Mostly 2D but if they have 3D that's a plus
someone who has hands on auto-cad experience 1-2 years of previous exp
Part of GIS Mapping but they don't need to come from that background
Will be doing internal training on data tool

Must have:
Able to quickly adapt to data entry platforms used for operation support systems, including geo mapping applications and Excel spreadsheet reporting.
On the job training will be provided.
One or more years of experience interpreting technical drawings/documents and performing technical analysis or drafting using computer-aided design software OR a degree in computer-aided design or relevant field may be substituted per guidelines for certain years of experience.
