Responsibilities

The following position is being offered for 1st shift with Bruker's OST divsion, a leading manufacturer and developer of high-performance superconductor wire products and research instrumentation.

Key Position Responsibilities:

    Complete accurate documentation and record keeping on production operator logs.
  • Maintain and track die room inventory using computer software or Excel spreadsheet and 6S tools to prevent run outs and defective items.
  • Comply with company safety standards and procedures.
  • Track die failures for process engineer to determine root cause and improve the die design and drawing process.
  • Ensures safe working practices are being followed.
  • Participates Bruker OST's on-boarding efforts by participating in activities that supports the training of others
  • Actively engages with quality and process engineers to assist and implement operational changes in compliance with established MSI standards.
  • Cross-training as required per business needs


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have basic math and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Must be able to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Eligible to work in the USA.
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret procedures and calibrated equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use all safety features and equipment.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated hourly range for this full-time position is between $16.00/hr and $23.00/hr and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Please note this position is eligible for Overtime compensation. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
