As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related presence by managing badge access, monitoring alarms, and completing routine patrols and checks. You will use computers and/or tablets to document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to access requests with strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and access control procedures at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing deliveries and contractors per site requirements.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems and report irregular activity or maintenance concerns per protocol to support security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
