Our people make all the difference in our success.

Our Team's Mission

Our team supports DaVita's efforts to increase patient engagement among our Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) patient population, which includes patients across the kidney care continuum, including CKD, ESKD and transplant patients. Broadly, our team is focused on finding innovative ways to increase our ability to connect with, provide value for, and retain patients, with the belief that sustained patient engagement will lead to improved outcomes and a reduction in total cost of care. We often operate in white spaces and require acting as an "owner" to bring projects from idea to execution, proactively problem solve, or double down on athe doption of best practices to support a positive patient experience.

About This Role

This Patient Engagement Senior Analyst will support DaVita's efforts to increase patient activation among our IKC patient population. A primary focus of this role will be to own and drive our Patient Activation Measure (PAM) workstream, and a key strategic initiative aimed at empowering patients in their own care. The role will focus on empowering patients in their own care and requires an owner's mindset to bring projects from idea to execution, proactively solve problems, and drive the adoption of best practices to support a positive patient experience.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy & Program Management
    • Serve as the primary owner for the Patient Activation Measure (PAM) workstream within the first 6-8 months, driving the work forward independently to meet key milestones.
    • This will include strategy and execution of the existing program, developing and piloting new approaches, scaling successful initiatives across our markets, and ensuring all efforts align with enterprise goals and quality outcomes.
    • Collaborate on and support other projects within the patient experience portfolio, helping to develop and implement solutions that improve patient engagement and outcomes.
    • Translate learnings from data into strategic recommendations for optimizing current processes and campaigns.
    • Assist in the development, piloting, and scaling of activation approaches and process improvements to improve key outcomes.
    • Apply an analytical mindset to evaluate the effectiveness and scalability of initiatives to prepare markets for new program launches.
  • Data Analysis & Insights
    • Lead data analysis by thinking critically about assumptions, linking data sources, and using formulas and pivot tables to provide recommendations.
    • Digest and deliver key takeaways from your analysis that drive the work forward.
    • Build dashboards and trackers to measure key metrics, improve teammate adoption, and provide visibility for leadership.
  • Execution & Communication
    • Act as manager or key contributor on cross-functional projects, working with other teams to ensure strategies are feasible and well-supported.
    • Ability to drive work lanes independently.
    • Create practical and effective resources, including patient-facing content and tools for care teams, to drive engagement processes.
    • Develop and deliver clear presentations, digestible training materials, and resources for various audiences, including teammates and leaders.
    • Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats with a focus on brevity, action-orientation, and appropriate tone.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of work experience.
    • Preferred but not required: background in management consulting, project management, or a corporate strategy role.
    • Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.

Your Superpowers & What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Masterful Juggler & Project Guru: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where juggling high-stakes projects with tight timelines is your jam. You stay organised, focused, and confidently manage multiple high-visibility projects and deadlines without breaking a sweat.
  • Curious Trailblazer & Owner: You're not afraid to venture into the unknown "white space" - in fact, it excites you. You're a natural at thinking beyond the immediate task, asking the questions that haven't been asked yet, and charting a course forward to drive and improve your work.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: You see ambiguity as an opportunity, not a roadblock. You don't just follow instructions; you look beyond them to anticipate challenges and ask "what if?" You thrive on figuring things out and are driven to find creative solutions and build something new from the ground up.
  • Communication Pro: Verbal or written - you're concise, action-oriented, and get to the point. Whether you're building a killer PowerPoint deck, communicating 1-1, or leading a group call, you ensure everyone understands the goal, how you got there, and the next step needed to drive action.
  • "Get Stuff Done" Mindset: You're self-motivated, responsive, and always looking for ways to improve the status quo. You're comfortable with ambiguity, lean into TEAM to foster a collaborative environment, and bring a can-do attitude to every challenge.
  • Data Detective: You're a data wizard who loves diving into complex data, asking tough questions, and surfacing the "aha!" moments that drive strategy. You can dig into the details, connect the dots between data sources, and use your Excel mastery to build insightful dashboards and trackers. Your tools of the trade are your critical thinking and a great spreadsheet.
  • Your Home Base: This role is preferably based in Colorado, and we'd love for you to join us in the office 2 days a week to collaborate with the team.
