Endoscopy Technician - Clinical Technician Fairfax, Virginia Pay From: $21.00 per hour MUST: 2 plus years of experience working in a high-volume clinical environment Emergency Medical Technician, Clinical Technician and Medical Assistant candidates will be considered Experience assisting providers with exams and procedures Obtaining vitals Strong EMR documentation Ability to learn new skills easily Prior surgical experience is a plus DUTIES: The Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Perform selected clinical and administrative duties Room patients Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Take patient histories and vital signs Assist with exams and procedures Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments Administer injections Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for procedures, including cleaning and sterilization Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested Work closely with providers to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients Perform direct patient care as instructed by the provider Complete appropriate documentation on all patients Provide customer service Take telephone messages for doctors Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
