Position details:

The RN Team Lead - Emergency Services is responsible for overseeing shift operations, including staff assignments, scheduling, and the effective allocation of personnel, equipment, and resources to ensure safe and efficient unit operations. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care through the consistent application of established standards, guidelines, protocols, and clinical pathways.

The position serves as a clinical expert and resource for staff, providing guidance, support, and real-time problem solving as needed. The incumbent actively participates in Quality Improvement initiatives, including direct observations and medical record reviews, to promote best practices and continuous improvement.

In collaboration with unit leadership, the role supports departmental goals and operational objectives. The incumbent also participates in the evaluation, coaching, and mentoring of staff under the direction of the Clinical Manager and Department Director, contributing to staff development and performance improvement.



To succeed in this role, you will need the following:



  • Current Maryland RN licensure
  • BSN required
  • Certification in area of specialty.
  • Current BCLS (CPR)
  • Current ACLS
  • Three to five years experience in clinical area.
  • One year charge nurse experience in clinical area.
