Job Profile Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Lead performs high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, mostly nuclear medicine imaging, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities also include serving as lead when direct leadership is unavailable, coordinating daily work assignments and assisting in training. The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care. Position Details: Location Mercy Hospital Stoddard 1200 North 1 Mile Rd Dexter, MO 63841 Hours/Schedule Full-Time (40-hrs per week) Days Exciting New Incentives:Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum. Sign-On Bonus: $10,000* Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine and required clinical hours have been completed. Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification/Registration: NMTCB or ARRT (N); Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Physical Requirements: * Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. * Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. * Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
